The thing I thought I needed more of (I was wrong)

Hey Reader!

A belief I hold that some people disagree with: I don't think most people need more information. I think they need more evidence.

For years, I thought my problem was that I didn't know enough.

  • So I bought the courses.
  • Downloaded the PDFs.
  • Watched the trainings.
  • Filled notebooks with ideas.

And yet, I still felt stuck.

THE STRANGE THING

The strange part? I wasn't lacking information. I was lacking proof.

  • Proof that I could follow through.
  • Proof that I could make a decision and stick with it.
  • Proof that I could create something and actually finish it.

Looking back, I can see that every unfinished project quietly chipped away at my self-trust.

Every abandoned idea became another reason to question myself.

Every pivot made me wonder if I was capable of building something meaningful.

Maybe you've felt that way too.

WHY THIS MATTERS

That's why I believe something that goes against much of what the online business world teaches.

I don't believe confidence comes first. I believe confidence follows evidence.

  • The first time you launch something.
  • The first time you send the email.
  • The first time you put yourself out there.
  • The first time you finish what you started.

Those moments create evidence. And evidence creates self-trust.

NEXT STEPS

That's one reason I talk so much about closing loops. A loop doesn't have to be a huge accomplishment.

  • Sometimes it's making a decision you've been avoiding.
  • Sometimes it's finishing a lead magnet.
  • Sometimes it's publishing the post.
  • Sometimes it's simply taking the next step.

Each one matters. Each one becomes proof. And over time, those small pieces of proof add up to something powerful.

That's why I built this free tool, What’s Your Open Loop?, to help you figure that out.

Hey Reader! One decision followed me around for more than a year. Not in a dramatic, flashing-neon-sign kind of way. It just kept quietly showing up, which was somehow even more annoying. I’d open my Google Drive to work on something completely different, and there it was. My Membership Ideas folder. At some point, I saw it so often that it practically became part of the furniture. Every few weeks, I’d open it, add another note, tweak an outline, save a new version, and close it again. It...

Hey Reader! Imagine a creator named Maya. Maya had been quietly working on her first digital product for months. The idea was solid. The draft existed. A few people had even told her they wanted it. Still, every time she got close to sharing it, she found one more thing to fix. The title needed work. The workbook could use another page. The checkout button suddenly felt like a major creative decision. You know, the usual extremely important tasks that appear when pressing “publish” starts to...

Hey Reader! A folder can take up a surprising amount of space in your head. For more than a year, I had a master folder in Google Drive called My Digital Products. Right underneath it sat another folder called Membership Ideas. I was in that master folder almost every day, so I saw those two words constantly. It felt like that folder was staring at me and patiently waiting for me to come back. 😅 Inside were idea after idea. Different names. Different outlines. Different versions of the same...
